Timely  solving  of  problem  issues  relating  to  the  normative  regulation  of  the  banking  system,  cooperation  with  the  commercial  banks  and  the  National  Bank  of  Ukraine  are  the  main  tasks  of  the  Directorate  of  Banking Supervision and  Relations.

The  Directorate  carries  out  analysis  of  normative  acts  of  the National Bank of Ukraine, regulating  supervision,  monetary  policy,  crediting,  accounting,  currency  administration   and  other  documents  to  be  complied  with  the  legislation  in  force. It  also  carries  out  studies  of  the activity   of  commercial banks  with  the  aim of  preparing  and  submitting  proposals   directed  at   increasing  efficiency   of  the  banking  system.
