The work of the Legal Directorate is directed at improving of the legal regulations of the banking activity. The Directorate works out propositions to the drafts laws, amendments to the legislation in force on issues of finance and banking activity, propositions to the drafts of the National Bank normative acts.
The interaction with the state power and management bodies, the law-enforcement bodies, the State Authorized Agency of Financial Monitoring, the State Security Service, the National Bank of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada Committees promotes an objective protection of the interests of the banking system in the legal field.
