The  work  of  the  Directorate  of  Banking  Taxation  is  directed  towards  the  improvement  of  the  legislation  on  taxation,  solving  the  problem  issues  relating  to  the  banks  taxation.  The  Directorate  works  out  propositions  to  the  tax  code   draft,  amendments  to  the  legislation  on  taxation,  carries  out  analysis  of  the  current  regulations  of  the  tax  laws and  its  introduction.  It  protects  the  banks  interests  in  relations  with  the tax  authorities  and  other  state  bodies.  Due to  the  active  interaction  with  the  Verkhovna  Rada  Committee  on  finance  and  banking  activity,  the  State  Tax  Authority,  the  departments  of  the  National  Bank,  the  commercial  banks  the  Directorate  is  succeeded  in  solving  the  problem  issues  of  the  banking  system  taxation.
