Order of Entry and Association Membership
1. Association members can be banks as well as regional bank associations; educational establishments of finance and economy established in accordance with the legislation in force, which recognize the Statute of the Association, pay entrance and membership fees. Members of the Association can be banks and bank institutions registered in Ukraine in accordance with established procedure, founded with the participation of foreign investment, which recognize the Statute of the Association, pay entrance and membership fees and are willing to accede thereto. They submit to the association along with their application basic information and a balance sheet ratio of a bank or a bank institution. Membership fee payment is to be ascertained by the Convention of the Association.
Association Members in a consultative capacity can be enterprises and organizations acting under a treaty with the Association (or those founded by it) in the interest of banks-members of AUB. These enterprises pay their fees in accordance with the procedure approved by the Council.
2. Banks enterprises and organizations being members of the Association reserve their complete economic and financial independence.
3. Association members exercise their rights and legitimate interests as well as they meet their commitments to the Association through a bank director or his representative being duly authorized by him thereto.
4. Accession to the Association’s membership is effected on the basis of an application form compiled per sample approved by the Council and a written recognition of the Statute of the Association.
5. Association member who infringes the legislation of Ukraine or the Statue of the Association, allows incorrect actions affecting the prestige of the Association members, violates the Code of Honesty of the Ukrainian Banker is subject to expulsion from the Association. The procedure of expulsion is implemented pursuant to the Decision of the Association Council to be further approved by the Convention of the Association.
